You can feel sorry for themonster because remember that he never asked to be born he had no to tell him right from wrong or to love and care for him he just wanted friendship and love. when he saw justine sleeping he felt anger because someone of her beauty could never love any one as hideious as him. Victor is responsible for the death of justine because if never trancended death then no of this would have happened. you can understand the way the monster is feeling beacause no one wants to be alone.
