Frankenstein

In what ways does victor underestimate the creature?

How is the creature ruining victor's life and did victor expect this to happen the way it did?

Victor was just hoping the creature would go away. Instead the creature lead a life of painful isolation leading to a thirst for vengeance against a creator that disowned him. Victor did not consider the extent of the creature's intellect in both learning to read but learning to survive and kill. The creature was always several steps ahead of Victor for the entire book.
