Frankenstein

In what country is Frankenstein mostly set?

The main setting of Frankenstein is not always clear as locations change often throughout the narrative. The story begins in the Russian Arctic, but it is clear that most of the action occurs...

This question is most difficult to answer in specifics. Victor's story takes us throughout Europe. Switzerland, the French Alps, Bavaria, Italy, Britain, Ireland, and the Arctic are all integral settings, so the Eurpean continent would be the correct answer. If we're talking about one specific setting, I would choose Robert Walton's vessel in the Artic, as it is from Walton's vessel that Victor shares his story.
