Walton and Frankenstein are both adventurers, placing their focus on accomplishing the impossible. They also impetuous.... moving forward without considering every outcome. Examples of this are Frankenstein's reaction to his creation, in addition to his thoughtless abandonment of the same. Walton, on the other hand, was unprepared for the ice that surrounded his ship, leaving his crew and himself in grave danger.
