What role did Madison play? Hamilton? Jefferson?

Alexander Hamilton focused on financial concerns, Madison backed away from Hamilton's plan (he'd been arguing against it), so that it could stand or fail on its own merit (Hamilton also agreed to support Madison's plans for the location of the Capital), and Jefferson, by bringing the men together......... he succeeded in skirting what could have been a crisis.
