Troy's traits as a character.

Troy is a good provider for his family. He is ambitious and willing to go the distance in order to get a promotion..... to make sure that his children have the opportunities that he did not. Unfortunately, Troy is also embittered by his experiences. He resents his own lost opportunities, and as a result, tends to play down the aspirations of his own son.
