why do you think Bradbury chose to have Beatty die as he did?

Fire is binding motif through the story. Beatty was badgering Montag, he wanted Montag to kill him. The only fitting way for Beatty to die was through the same means that Beatty seemed to love and, perhaps, secretly loath.
