Fahrenheit 451

What are some ways by which being "really bothered" can make a person better? Does being bothered help you, personally, put things into perspective?

Being "bothered" keeps us on our toes..... it makes us think, discern, and question. In essence, it makes us feel alive. Of course..... being bothered doesn't always make us happy, but it certainly makes us grateful for when we are.

"Let you alone! That's all very well, but how can I leave myself alone? We need not to be let alone. We need to be really bothered once in a while. How long is it since you were really bothered? About something important, about something real?"
