In what way does Fahrenheit 451 reflect today’s society? Do you believe we are going down a similar path? Why or why not?

This question calls for your opinion. There is no right or wrong answer. In my opinion, there are many similarities between today's society and Montag's world. People condemn books that have been around for centuries, technology and reality television has in many ways taken over for family, and the use of prescription drugs and sleeping medications is higher than it's ever been.
