Fahrenheit 451

In montags time, how often does death and suicide happen? How do the people react when they do occur?

Death or suicide does take place when people fail to follow the status-quo. We see this quite a bit. Examples include the anonymous scapegoat’s death on the television, Clairsse McClellan's uncle, the old lady who prefers to burn with her books....People are desensitized to suicide and death. They see suicide and death as part of some type of aberration on the part of the victim rather than any fault with society.
