Do you think the government has possession of some books? Because of having a no-book society, they must have thought of this way of life from somewhere or read books to get knowledge before hand to know what's best... How is the government somewhat successfully running without much knowledge (only violence is burning houses and people)? What such bad thing could of happened to make the government want nothing to do with books?
