Everyman: Morality Play

"we must engage ourselves in good deeds without delay" how true is this statment in relation to "everyman"

This is so true in the play that Good Deeds is an actual character. Good Deeds is the only character who does not forsake Everyman - and at the end of the play, accompanies him to his grave. Good Deeds represents Everyman's good actions - nice things that he does for other people.
