Why did Ender thought that the Earth was his Own??

He did not know its significance at the time. Later he would remember that it was even before he left Earth that he thought of it as a planet, like any other, not particularly his own Why might this be significant?

I don't think Ender was ever devoted to Earth or its cause to wage war on the Buggers. Ender always felt like an outsider on Earth.
