While others see Ender as a hero, he worries that "I killed them all ... All their queens. So I killed all their children, all of everything." Ender weeps again, saying that he never wanted to kill anyone and that he has been tricked into being Peter. 

Back on Earth, the League War is initiated by the Warsaw Pact. It lasts a short while before there is a truce according to the "Locke Proposal." The war reaches Eros, but the Russians love Ender and he remains safe. Russia, meanwhile, has its own problems with a rebellion of the Islamic States. Check this out for more:
