what was Che Guevara impact on society

Che Guevara faced many challenges as he tried to help Fidel Castro change the Cuban government as run by Batista. Guevara studied the Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx and hopes that Marx' philosophy could be used in a revolution to change the future of Cuba. He was a guerilla leader; he was an accomplished writer and thinker; he wanted to help Cuba on to a new future. Yet, ultimately he was captured and summarily executed; in a way, he has become a martyr for what he believed in and is somewhat romanticized by many people who agree with his thinking.
