1) The two types of love described in Forbidding Mourning are physical love and spiritual or intellectual love.

Donne notes that even when parted he and his wife remain as one soul spiritually and intellectually; they are one soul, man and wife. In line five, he notes that when they are not together physically, their physical bond melts upon parting.
