Aeneis
Aenis is a mythological Roman hero who's lifetime is recorded in Virgil's Aeneid. He received an Oracle which prophesied his discovery of the location of Rome, a city yet to be established. On his quest, he does arrive in Latium, where he befriends the rulers and becomes their new ruler.
Romulus
Romulus is Aeneas' son. He founds and becomes the first king of Rome.
Boudica
Boudica is a queen of the British tribe of the Celtic Iceni. She leads her people in a revolt against Roman rule in A.D. 60-61, but she is sadly rumored to have poisoned herself after losing the uprising. She remains a legend in British folk history.
Julius Caesar
Caesar is the first emperor of Rome. His ascension to the head of the Senate is marked by his extreme charisma. He manipulated people into giving him more power than any previous senator. By the end, he had attained complete control over an empire.
Mark Antony
He was a senator, one of the most influential. He desired to end the empire, so he led a Civil War against Octavian in 27 B.C.
Octavian
Octavian was Caesar's heir. He was an adopted son eager to prove his credibility as emperor. He defeats Marc Antony and sustains the empire.
