The American dream is not working out for Willy. After feeling disillusioned, Willy gets excited about the prospects of his sons opening a sporting goods store. Willy imagines everything working out. Willy imagines that Biff will get the loan and that the store will become a success. He also imagines that he will get a new job where he doesn't have to travel.
