How does Mr. Keating get the boys to look at life differently?

Mr. Keating has the boys actually discover things and think for themselves. He teaches the boys to explore and take risks. They read poetry, play soccer, and even stand on their desks.... all in a way to inspire them to see the world from different perspective.
