Does Mr Keating believe that poety can be measured?

in the movie i really didnt catch the answer and i was writing a paper on the movie; is it ture for false

Keating does not believe that poetry can be scientifically measured. He calls attempts to use a mathematical equation to measure poetry as "excrement"! To Mr. Keating, poetry is more an emotional calling and a state of consciousness.
