How did Roxanne trick the priest into marrying her to Christian?

Roxane reads a letter to the priest that was written by De Guiche. She fools the priest by making up the words as she goes along and telling him De Guiche wishes him to marry Roxane and Christian immediately. She also adds that there will be a monetary reward for doing so.
