Cyrano Foils

A foil is defined as "any person who through strong contrast, enchances the distinctive charactersitics of another" (A Handobok to Literature). Give 3 examples of how Cyrano and Christan are foils for each other.

Cyrano is far from good looking, but he is extremely smart and witty. Christian, in contrast, is physically attractive, but there isn't much left after you get past the good looks. They are similar in that they both love Roxane and are willing to do whatever is needed to make her happy.
