Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court

Ending of Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court

I am wondering about opinions on the ending of Connecticut in King Arthur's Court. Do you think it was an inevitable ending, why or why not? I am working on a paper and having some trouble with this. Thanks!

Of all of Twain's books this may be my favorite. It is a testament to his ability to create writing that entertains....... and tells the future. This novel is proof of his view of things to come and although meant to wreak of irony has come very close, if not right on the truth. I recommend this novel to anyone........
