How does the town react when Grandpa asks Loomis to preach at his house on Sunday?

The town reacts by telling grandpa he really stepped out of bounds asking a negro preacher to give the sermon.The only people who came and attended were Mr. and Mrs. Cratic who probably only went because they liked Miss Love.But they soon admitted that god loves sinners and forgives them,so thats why they went.
