Describe Ned's experience in boot camp.

Ned and the other Navajos found boot camp easy. They were used to walking long distances with weight on their backs and doing other physical activities. A large majority of the white boys, who joined at the same time failed to
complete boot camp, but all the Navajos make it through. For Ned, boot camp also served as a lesson in dealing with white people.
