There are three major conflicts: (1) Will the Elevator safely return to the Factory? (2) Will the old ones be restored to their proper age? (3) Will the President realize they are not dangerous?

The elevator safely returns to Earth , which destroys the Knids.

A carefully calculated dose of Wonka-Vite, restores the old ones to their proper age.

After Wonka saves the shuttle, the president realizes they are not dangerous and invites Wonka to the White House as a thanks for saving the shuttle. When everyone receives the news that they are invited to a very important dinner, all of Charlie's family jumps out of bed and enters the helicopter that will take them to the White House.
