Odd Conclusion

You found it odd because we're all so used to fairy tale endings, and we didn't get one in Burn. The ending was sad, death always is. But I hear there was going to be sequel to this novel, and now that I've seen this question...... I might just have to look it up. I enjoyed Pattyn's character and would be interested to see where the author takes her from here; it can't get any worse!
