I recall a scene when Holly is explaining to Paul about belonging. She is wearing pyjamas yet makes them look good as only Audrey Hepburn could. Grabbing her cat from a high shelf she says,

"I don't want to own anything until I know I've found the place where me and things belong together..."

The scene has her carrying the cat over to her fridge and finding slippers in it. I love the disorganization of the scene. Does the cat belong on the shelf, in her arms, on the fridge? Similarly, where do the slippers belong? The scene illustrates Holly's sense an abstract home and sense of belonging.
