What does the orgy scene in Brave New World represent?

I'm wondering about the "orgy-porgy" scene in chapter 5. What does it represent? What does it say about the characters and the world?

In my opinion, the scene of the orgy represents the lack of moral judgment and disconnection of the members of society. Relationships are non-existent. We see a world that has lost its civility and embraced a form of paganism.
