Brave New World

In what ways are the governments of both novels the same?

Brave New World Revisited (1958) by Aldous Huxley & 1984 by George Orwell

Both governments are totalitarian regimes. One government (1984) rules by fear, the other rules by regulating lives. Individuality and isolation are themes of both novels, and each are frowned upon by their corresponding governments.
