I am not sure the way this question is heading. The population is overall controlled by the society and its movement toward sexual freedom. The desire to make the people conform seems to have killed normal human individuality. There is fear of the men and women of the upper echelon of government and society, so these people are nervous and do not know how to act in many situations.
