The story is written in third person omniscient. The narrator is free to roam from person to person. We see much through the eyes of Bernard, John and Lenina. This is most effective because of the vast differences in understanding that each character has. We get to experience the hypocrisy, conformity and very vacuous thoughts on society through these characters' points of view.
