What did Antonio discover of Narcisso?

The test for witchcraft is an opportunity to place Ultima in a definable position: either she is a witch, or she is not a witch. Although the mob is eventually satisfied that she is not a witch, Antonio notices that Ultima cannot be defined by such a test. I think Narciso, who suggested the test of the compromise, knew the outcome.
