what are ultimas dreams? visions?

Ultima actually manifests her dreams and visions through Antonio’s dreams. Antonio dreams of Ultima burying his afterbirth. He is consumed by dreams about his destiny (becoming a vaquero or a priest). He also dreams of morality issues but ultimately all his dreams are tied in with Ultima's own visions for the boy.
