This is basically two fold. One part is to live a life of truth rebuking negative things like pride, lies, cheating... The other is to study scripture and continually seek the truth in all things and all people, especially yourself.

chapter 7 verse 7
O conquerer of wealth [Arjuna], there is no Truth superior to Me. Everything rests upon Me, as pearls are strung on a thread.
know about krishna and his commands and live in this material world is the true based living
