The Vedic scriptures require that Arjuna should act according to his Svabava and Swadharma. Svabava is defined as one's natural gifts and personality. Swadharma is a set of codes..... behavior that arises from one’s Svabava. Arjuna, born a warrior, is expected to fulfill his duty on the battlefield. Succeeding in battle is a requiement to achieve moksha (worldly liberation).
