Do you think Beowulf deeds make him a good role model?

I think they make him a heroic role model in a very Viking sort of way. He is considered an epic hero. Epic heroes generally battle for good. They are brave, intelligent, skillful and almost superhuman. Beowulf definitely fits these criteria.
