How can Batman relate to society?

In my opinion, Batman has a difficult time relating to society due to the things he has experienced throughout his life. As a boy, he witnessed the murder of his parents and grew up wanting to avenge their deaths. He is wealthy, his every need has been met and more, and he is surrounded by corruption and fear in his city. When looked at individually, each of these things enable him to relate to society. When looked at as a whole, his experiences set him apart.
