Bartleby the Scrivener/ Chapter One

First person narrators are never considered totally reliable. However, this lawyer seems reasonable and he seems to have Bartleby's best interests at hand. He tells the story from his point of view, but he seems relatively accurate in his details. However, he can only surmise what Bartleby is thinking.
