Biography of Jenny Han

Jenny Han is a Korean-American author of young-adult novels. Her notable young-adult works include the bestselling The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy, To All the Boys I've Loved Before, and Burn for Burn. The Summer I Turned Pretty was adapted as a television series by Prime Video, while To All the Boys I've Loved Before was adapted into a series of films by Netflix. Both were received to popular acclaim. Han's novels treat issues of coming-of-age, first loves, and the Korean-American young adult experience.

Han was born in Richmond, Virginia, and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from The New School in New York City.
