what is the attraction of this novel ?

It's actually a play and I think that ShakesPeare draws us to this question through the mood and the tone. It's almost like he wants us to decide for ourselves whether we care or not, hence the title. Finding our own meaning about themes of love, gender roles, sexual attraction and life is really what attracts audiences.
