Sekher is a practical person. He sees the value in truth and actually puts it into practice. Unfortunately Sekher underestimates the sensitivities of human nature. He hoped that people would welcome his frankness but human nature does not always work like that. Both the wife and the headmaster were a big part of his life. Sakher didn't consider that the truth can always be "adjusted" to spare people's feelings and pride.
