Cleopatra loves Antony and realizes he died with honor in the way he wanted. After Antony's death, Caesar's greatest wish was to bring Cleopatra to Rome, where he could parade her (and Caesarian) through the streets (a show of strength and triumph). Because Cleopatra will never allow this to happen, she too commits suicide; not out of love for Antony, but because she would not allow Caesar to dishonor her.
