    In Act II, Scene II, what is the conflict between Caesar and Antony? Do they resolve it, and if so, how?

    The shifting alliances and political intrigue of this play may be disorienting for some students, so this question can serve as an opportunity to help students fill in their knowledge gaps and clarify confusion. Octavius Caesar, ruler of Rome, was at war with Antony's brother and his wife. Antony protests ignorance - it was all Fulvia's doing (so he claims) while he was otherwise occupied in Alexandria.
