Part of the prediction of whether or not the Greeks would win the Trojan War centered around bringing Neoptolemus, Achilles' son, to the war. Although he was young when Odysseus went to get him, he definitely changed once he got to the war. He became a violent warrior and helped in the defeat of Troy. However, the stories of Neoptolemus vary in characterizing him as abusive and kind. No question, however; he did change.
