Both Antigone and Creon are tragic heroes in the play Antigone. Antigone fits the prototype of a tragic hero because of her loyalty to the gods and disloyalty to Creon. Other tragic flaws Antigone displays are stubbornness and disobedience.

Creon, on the other hand, has a huge ego and sees his commands as above all others..... even the gods. Creon's pride leads him to make horrific decisions and ignore the good advice of others.
