Which book is better between Animal farm and the Outsiders ?

I need to chose a book between these two for my english class. None of my friends have read one the books yet. Which one do you think is more interesting and/or funny ?

Both books are classics. One being better than another is really a matter of taste. They are different genre books. Animal Farm is more symbolic and metaphorical: there is more to dig in to. The Outsiders has some pretty memorable characters.
