In Chapter Three, the Seven Commandments are reduced to one simple saying: “Four legs good, two legs bad”. This saying encompassed the commandments that most of the animals are unable to remember.

Another rule change occurs when the pigs begin to take the milk and apples for themselves..... instead of the animals sharing equally in the harvest, the pigs now claim they have the right to it all. The pigs say they need these foods to power their brains.
