Old Benjamin didn't have a lot to say about the windmill. He "refused to grow enthusiastic." Benjamin kept his comments about revolution to himself. He felt that life will continue on badly regardless of the existence of a windmill. Ironically, Benjamin's negative predictions are the most accurate in the book.
