Many of the animals alive at the time of the rebellion are now dead. The windmill has been completed and another is in mid-construction. Everyone continues to work (even unto old age) except the pigs; they even walk on two feet now. The farm is rich and getting richer; the farmers now socialize with Napoleon and the other pigs; Animal Farms returns to its former name (Manor Farm), and in the end there's no telling the pigs apart from the humans. They've all blurred into one.
